We are proud to announce that THE TEDDY BEAR ABBEY will be hosting our annual Steiff Trunk Show on Saturday, June 9, 2007 in Leamington, Ontario, CANADA. Show hours: noon-4pm.
The venue will again be The Arts Centre, 72 Talbot Street West in Leamington.

The Arts Centre is a lovely place to showcase the fine Steiff line of collectables and it is located just 2 blocks west of our store.
This is a FREE show, open to the public, but all those who register to attend the show before Sunday, May 20 will receive a complimentary gift from Steiff and be eligible for draws that day at the show. Refreshments will be served.

You can register for the show simply by giving us your name, and the names of others who may be coming with you. You can do that by sending an email to bob@theteddybearabbey.com or you can call us at the store at (519) 322-0667. Out of town parties can call us at (866) 822-6722.

 As we do every year, we are encouraging attendees at this year's trunk show to bring out their own pieces. Little by little, the B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bears) attendee's pieces are becoming as much of a "draw" as the new pieces! It is so nice to have a few collectors come out with portions of their hugs to chat with other collectors!
If you're planning on attending this year's Trunk Show, and you have some pieces that you'd like to get outta the house for the afternoon, please let us know - We'd be more than happy to allocate some space for you. Remember - it's not a competition! It's a friendly get together of people just like you who love Steiff bears!
 And now for something *completely* different...
This year's Trunk Show will feature a bigger and better Online Trunk Show for our "@ The Abbey Club" and Forum members who live far enough away that attending the, uh, "non-Online" Trunk Show is impossible. This year, in the B.Y.O.B. tradition (and in addition to the photos, sales and other stuff we're putting online during the Online Trunk Show), we're setting up a place on our soon-to-be opened up "Forums @ The Teddy Bear Abbey" for Steiff collectors and aficianados to *Post* Their Own Bears to the Forums! It may not have the same touchy-feely atmosphere as the, uh, "non-Online" Trunk Show, but it will nevertheless be a friendly place for people to meet and share photographs and stories! |
