This lovely lady Teddy bear made of cream-colored alpaca with her beautiful gown and graceful expression is a fairytale princess in every aspect. She is masterfully crafted and modeled on the character from the fairytale, "Cinderella", by The Brothers Grimm. The "Cinderella" bear is the first in the new collector's series, "Fairytales" by Steiff, which is dedicated to famous and beloved fairytale characters. The Teddy bear is five-ways jointed, has a small horizontally embroidered nose and black glass eyes that give her a lifelike character with intenseexpression. "Cinderella" can stand alone thanks to the flat soles on her feet; this also emphasizes the opulence of her clothing. This lady Teddy bear is wearing the same enchanting gown as the legendary Cinderella when she appeared at the Royal Ball: her blouse and bloomers are made of organza, herpetticoat is made of raw silk. The resplendent overdress is also made of organza embroidered with silk. Her outfit is finished with a crowning achievement: she is wearing a delicate, rose colored cloak with raw silk embroidery and lining. On her left paw sits a small dove made of white alpaca that proudly spreads its tail feathers intricately made of three layers of felt. The little dove has a discreet airbrushed expression and gazes at the world proudly, yet curiously, with its little black eyes.
