The Steiff "Million Hugs" Fall Event 2007 marks the centennial of the "Year of the Teddy Bear," in which Steiff manufactured one million Teddy bears in Giengen/ Brenz, Germany. The Fall Event will be an audio/video media presentation of the creation of Steiff's Marianne Meisel bear along with an introduction to the new product range.
We will also screen a short video from Schulte Mohair showing the production process of their quality mohair furs and their close relationship with Steiff.
Other highlights include signed Event pieces, very low limited edition silent auction item, goody bags and door prizes.
It promises to be a fun teddy bear day... We look forward to seeing you!

This handsome bear wears a silver bow and features subtle airbrushing on his grey paw pads. Delicate airbrushing of the famous belly-button completes this special piece. The Jackie design was first introduced in 1953 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Teddy bear. The round shape, playful smile, and airbrushed belly button set it apart from any other Steiff design.
